I offer short and long term counselling to both adults and young people in Oxford (Summertown) and Online

 

I am experienced, BACP Accredited therapist offering a warm, caring environment in which to explore any of life’s circumstances. I have worked for over 8 years a school counsellor in both the state and private system supporting young people age 11-18 from a variety of backgrounds. I have also worked with a with a well-known bereavement charity, and have my own private practice. I have worked in mental health services for over 14 years.

 

I work in an integretive way and can offer Cognitive Behavioural Therapy also, which is very good at treating depression, anxiety, phobias, OCD and many other issues. It's great at tackling exam stress and transitions. I also offer deeper work, looking at shadow elements and unconscious patterns that will be affecting current life circumstances. 

 

I am dedicated to providing a genuine, supportive and confidential space in which to work together. I believe that each life is a unique journey and that we all have the ability to both trap ourselves, and free ourselves. I aim to provide the space in which to explore what is required to be where you need and want to be.

 

Not all journeys are easy, and not all friends and family can offer the support we need. It can be incredibly beneficial to talk things through to an honest and non-judgemental ear. I may not have your map, but I believe working together and collaboratively I can help you to draw your own.

 

I feel that the key element in being able to work together is the relationship between the counsellor and the client and therefore offer an initial session to see if there is the potential to develop a good working relationship.

I also offer psychedelic integration therapy, to prepare you for a medicine journey. This is from a harm reduction standpoint and I do not supply or facilitate this work here in the UK.
